Here's a question for you.
What do ...
A) A walk through Chinatown finding $0.85 BBQ pork buns (eighty five cents but how!),
(And photos nicked off of Snapchat)
B) A stop in Little Italy at our very favorite pizza place in all the world for a calzone and a slice of pepperoni pizza,
C) Running across the street to a very raucous bar to find that the Giants were in the 11th inning against the Nationals - and ending up getting treated to a round of beers by the nicest older couple,
(PS this game went on for a total of 18 innings - the longest post-season game ever.)
(I'm not exactly saying we were the lucky charms, but I mean they did end up winning, didn't they.)
D) Belting Celine Dion and Phantom of the Opera and Mulan and such a random, cathartic lineup of belt-able songs at the top of our lungs for two hours in our own little private karaoke room for Hanna's birthday,
Sounds like the perfect weekend!!! I love San Francisco and can't wait to spend some time there for thanksgiving and Christmas.

I've never been to SF but you guys make it look like so much fun! I'm in my 40's, married, with a kid, but I always look forward to my annual girls' getaway! One year we flew to Vegas, one year we drove to Wisconsin Dells, and another year we rented a cabin in Michigan. Whether we go for 5 days or just the weekend, we always have a blast! Even though we've gotten married and started families, it is always important for us to nurture our relationships with the women in our lives, particularly for our mental health...we don't call it a girls' getaway for nothing! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great time on your trip...makes me want to visit SF!
